Seattle, WA | August 5, 2022: TF Labs and Niftmint hosted their second Blockchain Backyard, welcoming the Seattle Crypto community filed with Web3, NFT, Bitcoin, and Blockchain Builders, Innovators, and Founders. Register for the next Blockchain Backyard below.
On August 3, 2022, Blockchain Backyard returned for Web3 networking and connections, bringing together the PNW and Seattle Crypto communities. Blockchain Backyard was hosted at the TF Labs and Niftmint offices in Belltown on the outside deck with the Space Needle off in the distance.
Over 80 people made their way to the networking event, leading to great conversations between those actively building and leading the way in Web3. During the group picture, those in attendance slowly started peeling off the group photo as the entrance date into Web3 was announced, starting with everyone in the photo above and going down to 2020, 2018, 2016, and then as far back as 2013.
During the Blockchain Backyard, TF Labs and Niftmint CEO and Founder, Jonathan G. Blanco addressed those in attendance and shared TF Labs' and Niftmint's commitment to the Pacific Northwest's Blockchain Community, stating that more monthly events are on the way including monthly panels on current events and topics in Web3, open office "Web3 CoWorking Days" hosted minimum twice a month, office hours and mentorship, and of course more Blockchain Backyard events.
"Seattle is one of the most innovative and tech-forward cities in the entire world but unfortunately has been slow to welcome Blockchain and Web3. Sure large companies like Amazon and Microsoft have groups dedicated to the space, but we have yet to see significant investor or startup ecosystem interest. This is why TF Labs has been so committed to supporting Web3 Founders, creating community, hosting events and education sessions, and creating our own startups like Niftmint. Those who attended Blockchain Backyard will be able to claim a free NFT from TF Labs created using Niftmint's Conference NFT application allowing Event organizers to be able to gift NFTs to their attendees without forcing them to have their own cryptocurrency wallet. This is the second NFT offered for those attending Blockchain Backyard.
TF Labs also issued NFTs for conference attendees at its TF6 Blockchain Conference along with attendees of past conferences. If you have attended a past TF Blockchain Conference, make sure to check your email for a link to claim your NFT.
